Cirrhosis, also called the end stage liver disease is arguably the most common of the liver diseases in world's population today. The liver is a very important organ in the human body, and it's maintenance should be a priority. Cirrhosis slowly develops and by the time one later realizes what's happened, it might be late, but not too late. The disease is as a result of any damage done to the liver, instantly, there is an immediate liver repair. However, if the damages continue, there might be a formation of fibrosis (scarring tissues) on the liver replacing the initial parenchyma tissues , this then gradually results to cirrhosis .
